Electricity suppliers must have a complaints process. They must also reply to complaints and come to a decision within 8 weeks.

how to claim

1. You could use Resolver.co.uk to file your complaint if your electricity supplier uses that service. 2. Else, directly contact your electricity supplier using contact details on a recent bill. 3. If you don't know your electricity supplier, then contact your network operator to find out your supplier details. 4. Explain the problem, and what you want them to do. 5. Keep records of email, letter or telephone correspondence.
