1. Contact the energy supplier to put it right in the first instance. a. If you are unhappy with their response, then make a complaint. 2. Get help from Citizens Advice on 0808 223 1133, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Someone at their Extra Help Unit could take on your case if you are in a vulnerable situation. 3. If you think you are a victim of fraud or have been contacted by someone trying to scam you: a. Call Action Fraud on 0300 123 2040 or use their online form. 4. Always call 999 in an emergency, if you feel threatened or unsafe.
