Ofgem's safety net means you will always have an energy supply, even if your energy supplier has gone bust.
how to claim
1. Take a meter reading, sit tight and don’t switch. 2. Wait for Ofgem to appoint a new supplier. 3. When the new supplier contacts you, ask to be put on their cheapest tariff or shop around and switch if you want to. You won’t be charged exit fees.
